Eurecat disseminates SunCoChem at the Advanced Factories Congress 2022
SunCoChem project, coordinated by Eurecat, has been featured in the centre’s catalogue, distributed during the Advanced Factories Congress, as one of its key European research projects in the sustainable chemistry sector.
The catalogue has been distributed to all visitors approaching Eurecat’s own booth at the Congress, celebrated from 29th – 31st March in Barcelona (Spain).

Based on the single-unit CO2 capture and conversion architecture to design a self-sufficient device, SunCoChem’s innovation aims to reduce costs, reduce CO2 emissions and improve the efficiency of converting energy from sunlight to chemicals. The project will have a significant impact in reducing the dependence of the European Chemical Industry on carbon raw materials.
The Advanced Factories Congress is the annual meeting for industrial leader which brings together the leading companies in industrial innovation with professionals of the sector seeking the best solutions in automation, robotics, digital manufacturing and machine tools, together with the technologies allowing the promotion of industrial competitiveness, new business models, new production processes and the introduction of Industry 4.0.
