SunCoChem takes part in the 3rd edition of the Co2oling the Earth Summer School
SunCoChem project has been presented in two different sessions held within the 3rd edition of the Co2oling the Earth Summer School, aimed at discussing about all the aspects of sustainable industry, with special focus on Carbon dioxide Capture and Utilization (CCU) and on Electrochemistry, and celebrated on 28th of September.
Dr. Sorani Montenegro, project partner from HySyTech, delivered the presentation “Scale up of a photoelectrochemical process” and explained the main research and work done within SunCoChem project, as well as some objectives and results achieved.
On the other hand, Dr. Boyan Iliev, from IoLiTec, presented the work titled “Ionic Liquids – novel media for CO2 absorption and conversion”, which also included some results and research done within SunCoChem project.
Additionally, during the event partners from IIT have organised a PhD workshop on the use of CO2, in which PhD students could submit an abstract with their project idea that has been examined by an industrial panel that will help them to develop the idea and point out critical points and merits of the work.
The event included the workshop “Scale up your project!” that was co-organised by SunCoChem project, together with the European projects Recode and Ocean.
