SunCoChem dissemination at the European Marketing Academy’s Regional Conference
Antonia Delistavrou, Associate Professor at the International Hellenic University (IHU) and SunCoChem partner has attended the European Marketing Academy’s Regional Conference (EMAC), taking place at the University of Piraeus in Athens (Greece) on September 27th-29th, 2023.
During the event, she delivered a presentation entitled “Climate Change Risk Perceptions in a VBN Model to Predict Intentions to Buy Cosmetics and Detergents Containing Recycled CO2“, which highlighted the role of perceptions about global warming in the sequence of psychological factors (values-beliefs-norms) that influence consumers’ intentions to buy cosmetics and detergents that are going to contain chemical ingredients made by recycled CO2.
The study focuses on two consumer-packaged goods categories: personal and house care products. The SunCoChem consortium is designing and developing a reactor with the objective to capture and recycle CO2 and to be used in the production of three chemicals which can be embedded in fragrances or flavours used in cosmetics and household cleaning products.
The relevant paper will be published in the conference proceedings. You can read the full article here:
