POLITO highlights SunCoChem’s advances at the Academia Nazionale dei Lincei conference on synthetic fuels
SunCoChem partners from Politecnico di Torino (POLITO) showcased the project’s latest advancements and results at the “Convegno Linceo su Combustibili di sintesi (e-fuels)” (Linceo Conference on Synthetic Fuels), organized by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei in Rome, Italy, on October 3-4, 2024.
Members from POLITO were invited to contribute to discussions on e-fuels and present SunCoChem’s recent progress. Simelys Hernández, Associate Professor at POLITO and SunCoChem Technical Coordinator, took part in a roundtable on research and development initiatives concerning e-fuels, sharing insights from the project’s advances.
In addition, Hilmar Guzmán, Assistant Professor at POLITO, presented a poster titled “Scaling-up a Photo-electrocatalytic System for CO2 Capture and Conversion: the SunCoChem Approach.” The poster detailed the development of SunCoChem’s reactor and the ongoing advances in scaling up the Gas Diffusion Electrode (GDE) for higher production rates.
