Exhibiting a SunCoChem poster at the Conference on Artificial Photosynthesis and Green Catalysis
Federica Zammillo, PhD candidate in the group of Prof. Simelys Hernández and project partner from Politecnico di Torino, attended the Conference on Artificial Photosynthesis and Green Catalysis (CAP GC) 2023, organised by the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and celebrated on July 17th-19th.
During the event, she exhibited a poster based on SunCoChem research, which is entitled “Addressing the stability challenges of Gas Diffusion Electrodes in the presence of ILs based solutions for the continuous Electrochemical Conversion of CO2”.
The poster analyses the issues identified operating copper oxides-based gas diffusion electrodes with ionic liquids and organic solvents mixtures in flow reactors. This work is also contributed by SunCoChem partners from Politecnico di Torino, Eurecat and Laurentia.
The Conference on Artificial Photosynthesis and Green Catalysis brought together stakeholders from academia, industry, and politics. Over the course of three days, the conference provided a forum for sharing exciting scientific discoveries and discussions for a decarbonised future.
