Eurecat presents SunCoChem project during the SusChem-España General Assembly
SunCoChem scientific coordinator Miriam Diaz de los Bernardos, Head of the Synthesis and Catalysis Line at Chemical Technologies Unit at Eurecat, has presented the project at SusChem-España General Assembly, focused on chemistry’s contributions to the Green Deal through the circular economy and decarbonization celebrated last October 6th.
During the meeting, Miriam Diaz de los Bernardos delivered the presentation “Photoelectrocatalytic device for SUN-driven CO2 conversion into green chemicals”, to present SunCoChem as a key sustainable chemistry project addressing the need of the European Industry and reducing their dependence on carbon feedstock and to explain the main objectives of the project and the latest developments and results achieved.
The meeting also counted with the participation of representatives from the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI), CEOEXEuropa, Fertiberia, BASF and Perseo Biotechnology.
SusChem-España is the Technological and Innovation Platform for Sustainable Chemistry, which encourages cooperative activities and the exchange of know-how and experiences in the field of chemistry and sustainability in order to solve current and future social challenges.
