Partners from SunCoChem participate in the nanoGe Fall Meeting Online Conference
SunCoChem project has been represented in the nanoGe Fall Meeting Online Conference, a unique series of symposia on advanced materials preparation and fundamental properties, which took place from 18th – 22nd of October 2021.
Simelys Hernández, Hilmar Guzmán and Federica Zammillo, researchers at the Politecnico di Torino, have participated in the symposium “#SolCat21. (Photo-)Electrocatalysis: From the Atomistic to System Scale”, delivering the presentations “Optimization of Gas Diffusion Electrode for the Electrochemical CO2 reduction: effect of Nafion content and mass transport issues”; B-doped CuO Catalysts for Enhancing Electroreduction of CO2 to C2+ Products” and “Electrochemical CO2 Conversion on metal-oxides-based nanostructures and scale-up challenges”.
During the session, they took the opportunity to share some of the latest outcomes in the field of CO2 reduction technologies and mention SunCoChem project research results, as well as some of the main work done.
This symposium was focused on different topics such as fundamental mechanistic studies, catalyst design, operando studies, membranes and ionomers, gas diffusion electrodes, membrane electrode assemblies, flow reactors, device engineering, modelling spanning all relevant length scales, relevant experimental and theoretical methods development and technoeconomic analysis.
The nanoGE conferences are a worldwide events that cover cutting-edge scientific research topics.
