Eurecat brings SunCoChem to the Advanced Factories Congress 2021
SunCoChem project, coordinated by the Chemical Technology Unit of Eurecat, has been included in Eurecat’s catalogue distributed during the Advanced Factories Congress, as one of the key research projects of the Technology Centre, providing the chemical industry with an alternative to produce oxo-chemicals without using raw materials derived from carbon or oil.
The project’s innovation manages to reduce costs, reduce CO2 emissions and improve the efficiency of converting energy from sunlight to chemicals. Additionally, the project-driven solution will have a significant impact in reducing the dependence of the European Chemical Industry (ECI) on carbon raw materials.
The catalogue has been distributed to all attendees approaching Eurecat’s booth.
The Advanced Factories Congress, which took place in Barcelona on June 8-10, is the annual meeting for industrial leader which brings together the leading companies in industrial innovation with professionals of the sector seeking the best solutions in automation, robotics, digital manufacturing and machine tools, together with the technologies allowing the promotion of industrial competitiveness, new business models, new production processes and the introduction of Industry 4.0.
