The draft CEN Workshop Agreement, promoted by SunCoChem, is open to public comments
The CEN Workshop on ‘Testing and evaluating the performance of devices for electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 to CO’, kicked off on July 2024, had the objective to promote the development of a new CWA on procedures and protocols for testing and evaluating the performance of devices for electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 to CO.
The workshop’s registered participants have agreed on the final draft of this CWA promoted by SunCoChem. A public commenting is organised for a period of 45 days, closing on 22 August 2024.
Comments can be submitted to the Workshop Secretariat Mr. Fernando Utrilla (futrilla@une.org) using the commenting form below. The comments received will be considered by the Workshop participants before its publication.

The SunCoChem European project, funded under the Horizon 2020 programme, addresses the need of the EU Chemical Industry for highly competitive and integrated solutions enabling the carbon-neutral production of energy and high-value chemicals from solar energy, H2O (water) and CO2 (carbon dioxide).
The conversion of CO2 into chemicals occurring in an (photo)electrochemical device is divided in two half reactions, namely water oxidation and the reduction reaction CO2 to CO (carbon monoxide).
